With your powers combined....I am Captain Planet!
No, no.... Sorry kids, not a pic of captain planet.
This is a small, kind of logo I am doing for my future website. I will have a sort of 'Tutorial', more of a library really. Anyway it will discuss 'The Visual Elements'
Hence this pic.. Elements....
EARTH, FIRE, WIND, WATER.
I know it isn't realistic, but its ok isnt it? I would like some advice for the water though.

I like it man, it's a nice little design... although you might want to consider giving the earth part a more solid look... it looks a bit... poopy at the moment nice though

Here's an edited version. I just kinda broke up the 'earth' to eradicate that lumpy, poopy look. did it work?

About the water, you have to remember that water isn't blue, it's clear. it's only blue in lakes/oceans/rivers because of the reflection from the sky. If you really want to see how the shading would behave, then drop some tap water on your kitchen counter and see what it does.

You are right about the water, but It isn't neccessarily supposed to be realistic. I understand that..
"Every material reflects its surrounding environment to varying degrees."
I suppose I made it so blue because it was meant to click in your mind as soon as you see it. 'Hey thats water!!...'
I'll think about it though.
Thx for your comments people. I hope you get to your music! I hope that temperature goes away! and Freddio...I'm sad to say that I haven't seen Captain Planet around for ages. Seems the ABC don't realise its such a riveting show!
