I'm intrigued the oil-city concept. You could have added some drilling towers, oilrigs and refineries. And refineries always has silos and oil rigs always have fire exhaust. What are those windmills used for when they already have oil as fuel source?
Nice attempt by the way. But more details could have been put into it. Nice balance on the picture tho'. Can't give you much info on markers, sorry. |

Yeah stupid idea. I thought about that they use wind power to pump oil. But after they've got oil, why the hell they need wind power

Bah!! I don't read so much into it. It looks cool and that's what matters. Had you not called it "Oil City" noone would have known.
I like it. A stronger composition could have been if that whole middle part was off center, but then it's good to have some centered compositions as well for variety.
Very nice. I'm sure you know about http://www.dougchiang.com and http://www.artbyfeng.com - they are excellent art references/marker designs.
Your drawing looks really good. Signature/title too big =)Here a smaller sig and title would have made the structure seem bigger! =)

Thanks for your input. BTW, what paper is better to use with prismacolor markers. I actually use my inkjet paper But markers seam to flood paper and its hard to draw small ditails too.
