hey, thats cool! one crit i have is that the dragon looks like a normal guy with spikey hair. maybe make him looking more over his muzzle so it isn't shaped like a normal face?
i like the solid outline of the figures, make them stand out and gives it a book illustration feel.

Cool Dragon Dan but do you know how to do scales on a dragon... in pencil style... that's something that hard to learn probably.

I try the way you did Dan and it does work on cartoon style dragon but what about more realistic... Do they look something like Dinosaurs and lizards cause I can just get pictures of those and apply it on dragon pictures.

Here's a little repaint I did of your picture.
Big weapons can look "cool", but in real battle, the guy with a sword as big as the cyclop's on your drawing has time to die 6 times before even lifting the sword.
Black outline is not the best way to make shapes come out. Shading and lighting is what makes an object stick out.
I also took out your goblin, because, well, a one legged goblin isn't a worthy ennemy Anyway, a picture's worth 1000 words, so there you go. Best way to make the most out of a repaint is to figure out the differences between the two and why one aspect of one drawing/painting is better than the other. That way, next time you'll want to execute a drawing manoeuver, you'll be like: "Oh, I won't try the same technique again, since I know a better technique exists. I'll try to master it."
