i must say that it is very visually impacting. it is well designed and the composition is pretty good.

but then you say it is for a website.......

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!

it is so graphic intensive that you are really going to

A) drag down someone on dial-up
or
B) loose a lot of image quality with heavy compression

dont get me wrong....its a nice design, but you have to remeber that most people are still on dial-up.

mattready: first off .. thanks .. and it may look like a lot of GFX but it is not really that big ..

Now the main page .. top part will be in flash.. they wanted some fade in crap .. that most likly will be the bigest part of the site . the other stuff will be very small, and for the sencond page .. well its only going to be a few gfx as well ,, the boxes that are there now will be tables with BG color and the top part will be tables with BG color too ... The site is going to be in a 3 frameset so once the top and bottem are done loading ,, they wont have to load again ...

i know they look bug but they are going to be optomized in the end .. thanks for you commments man .,,

I think it is very beautiful looking and would capture the attention of people. This would also prompt them to browse the site and learn more about it.

hey.. looks good proximo.. I like the top one the best, the vertical bars in the middle of the second really disrupt the design I think.. its not very comfortable to look at the text areas because the bars first grab the viewers attention and then proceed to pull their eyes up or down the page.. I think they could be very effective at getting the viewer to scroll down the page IF you faded them a bit so they didn't stick out so much.

Anyway, as I said, I like the top one the best, but the second one has a lot of potential too I think, and I agree that you shouldn't have much trouble optimizing the page to load fast if ya use the right tricks :P
Just wanted to say its some good stuff, oh.. and stop by icq again sometime man..

looks good to me, especialy the one on the top, it's more lively than the lower one.

Well i posted some concept pics in the work in progress forum a few weeks ago and well we had the meeting with the clients and they piced out this design for the site.. now i need to make some sub pages for the next meeting this wed.. this is the first sub concept .. tell me what you think ..and this is the main page also ..
