A rather large (hehe, sorry) selection of floral photos that didn't make the cut for my website.

Most of these were taken late in the day so the lighting is awful. Others were left out because of poor framing or just plain ugliness.

If you mean for a photo reference, I don't mind at all...that's part of the reason I posted them!

But if you mean to go put them up on your website and say, "Lookee what I did!" I'm afraid I can't let you do that ;D

Seriously though, feel free to use them all you want. And if anybody does feel the need to put them anywhere (although I don't know why that would happen) just be sure to give me proper credit

Wasn't it Sargent who said painting flowers is great practice because of the subtle tones and whatnot? Bah, I duno. Nice pics Jez, they look professional, like the ones in my moms flower catalogs.

Jezebel- Grr... can't see anything or conect to the links. The internet cafe here in China sucks ass.

Well, you know that I love photography, and I think I'll try a different cafe to see if that works.

Luna - Awww... that's too bad, you were one person I was really hoping to get feedback from. Grrr indeed! ^_^ Well, they aren't anything all that wonderful anyway... like the original post says, they are rejects

Ahhh. Now I can see them. I'm so jealous--my camera can't narrow the field of depth to save its life. I have to either fake the blurring in photoshop or get the subject as far away from the background as possible. The monitor at this internet cafe is really dark(and they took off the adjustment buttons), so I can only imagine how the pictures REALLY look.
