Hi, long time, no post.
I got inspired after reading Charles Burns' Black Hole and did this painting. It's not really any character from the series but that was what I felt like drawing. She could really fit into the comic imo, the forest is also inspired on some pages from the first issue.

hi, grendel.
the different elements in the picture look good, but they dont interact imho.
it looks like you just pasted some pictures together to a bigger one.
the lighting on the girl for instance does not fit the rest of the pic.
well just my opinion.
gotta go back to work.

Thanks for the comments, guys.
Nex: I agree with you, that's a problem I have when using layers, got to work more on that. I started sketching the whole picture, but I lose all sense of composition when detailing (damn 15" monitor!). Actually, I spent a lot of time painting the girl while the background was done faster.
EviLToYLeT: She's got a disease that causes malformations, I wanted to make her pretty and at the same time weird.
Horg: Thanks, yeah I used some custom brushes, they're the first ones I've done myself and it shows.
Keep'em coming.

damn her boobs are big. are those implants? as far as I know, real breasts don't tend to look like that unless the woman is nursing.
looks nice though

hehe they're not implants but I agree, they look too big. I think I put too much volume on them for the size they were suposed to be.
