I've been criting away other peoples work while not givng ya a chance to FLAME !! mine :P

Took me 2 hours since I was mucking around with Illustrator (for the first time) , bit of a self-portrait of me after 5 hours of quake

Looks cool, man looks cool. Funny thing is I've got Quake-eye in both eyes right now but it's from sitting in front of this damn computer for 16-18 hours each day. Cool pick even without the rest of the facial features. The only thing that looks totally odd is the way the ear attaches to the neck. I like the design on the eyes, too, that whole 'single lens' look seems to fit the style of the piece well.

You've got your own style going so I won't be commenting on that, but you should really learn the basics of image compression. As a jpeg this image is a 180K (I'm on ADSL and it still took a few seconds to load), if you would have saved it as a 16 color gif it would look exactly the same and be about 20K.

Oh, and you should probably give him a mouth

S#^$! Talk about FLAME the Newbie! Personally, I think it's refreshing to see some humorous, simple cartoon style pics in this forum full of detailed paintings. This is art, and I think simplicity is a beautiful thing. As for constructive criticism, I think some of the lines could be thicker, like around the ear. Oh yeah, nice concept too!
