I just plugged in my Graphire tablet I bought like a year ago, but I never really used it, since I wasn't satisfied with the results. Now, however, I found that I actually could use it, and I came up with this:
Tell me what you think, eh?

I'm thinking of buying a Wacom as well.
CeRbErO: How do you use such a small working area? I am puzzled to think that you can produce that image with such a small tablet! Can you tell me the limitations and or advantages of a 4*5 Graphire?
I'm assuming you had to zoom in a lot because of the size of the tablet. So how do you produce long smooth lines that go across the whole screen?

me? Me? I've been chosen? Why.. I've never won anything! This is great!
I think the hand/arm/sleeve should be a bit bigger since it appears this being/thing is pointing directly at me, and would most likely have its arm extended slightly, not to mention its far freakier to have a big demented forced perspective finger telling me that i've been chosen..
nice feel to it, maybe do a few versions of it so the other people get chosen and dont feel left out.

Thanks for the crits everyone.
I noticed too that the hand is quite small... Maybe I'll do another version later on.
About the Graphire.. It works very well with the small work area. I draw the pic in a higher resolution than I intend to have it when it's finnished. The long lines, I just sketch 'em, and build the lines up...
