ack.
that is mad sweet.
Should put some of that sweet bizarde style shading into it.
and definitely post the 3d version. You should render it in lightwave if you can. StationX does their rendering in LW for the most part, and they do a lot of mech type stuff.

Wow!!
The amount of detail is tremendous! It reminds me a little of VortX's work, but not much. All the details actually makes it hard to figure out, that's my problem with it. When you color it it's main shape will probably come out much clearer. Also, a few white highlits will maybe do the trick as well. Very good work indeed. (claps hands)

The left arm looks like it would have restricted movement, but this is a sweet picture. Times like this I wish I had a drool bucket. |

zeebit: i dont know to much about 3D stuff, afriend of mine will take this part. but what i know, he will use Maya to do this job.
shading is a necessity in that chaos...

My first reaction: HOLY SHIT!
My second reaction: Right click, save as...
Really awesome Bizarde, I just love your stuff and this latest piece in particular. You've gone a little heavy on the detail, it's kind of confusing, but all in all very impressive. MORE!

Groove. I highly approve of the use of maya, that is all i use, heh.
But its renderer sorta sucks i think. Though, i bet he knows what is up and can tweak to gte it to look good.
definitely post it if you can. Should get him to start posting here too...
Keep up the insanely awesome work.

Very cool design Bizarde! I always like your line work. The head area is a bit busy...perhaps you can punch that out by just rendering that area out w/ marker.
I'm working on some very similar things right now....you've inspired me!!! I'm gonna be drawing tonight...

Make sure he makes it so that every little part has a joint limit in such a way that they flex and move independently of each other, and yet move together(your friend will know what I mean if ya don't). Beautiful drawing, should look incredible animated. Could even try a little cel shading. :]

This pic is sweet like butter cake-frosting -- the type that makes your throat numb from all the sugar!
I especially appreciate the non-humanoid elements that appear on it; the head in general (how it is more like an extension of the torso) and the claw(gun?) arms - very cool.
Man, this is some mad detailing! I gotta see those arms in 3d, to see how they rotate and stuff.
Do ya mind if we color it and post it?

Holy crap! Great looking mech. Level of detail is awesome, and the design looks solid as well. Damn! This is a level of ability to which I aspire. |

Love it would be great if you colored it not all airbrushy-wacom style though nice manga style coloring would rock ( humble opinion )
your style is great - do you have more stuff online?

very nice. However I personally find it very hard to look at. A lot is going on. Maybe if it was colored up it would be easier. |

Uuuuuuughhhhh, coming from a fellow modeler, I really, really feel for the guy that has to work on that. On the flipside, though, he'll have one kick ass model on his hands.
That drawing rocks in everyway. I'm not a fan of lots of detailing but I definitely appreciate the craftsmanship in this piece of work. I hope that someday I can achieve this level in my hand drawn stuff so I can say that I can do it and then never do it again An excellent drawing because even as detailed and busy as it is...it's clean and you can see where everything is located and what its purpose is. I hope some coloring or shading can clear up some of the detailing though so that it's easier to read from a first glance. Your inking job goes a long way in making the piece readable, good job.
Great job, I'd love to see more like it. By the way, what size is the original?

all I can say is WOW MAN!! some incredible details goddamn!!
I could be nice to see a minimun detailed(to save time) modelsheet, you know front side and and back of it to make the silhouet more clear, the silhouet is a bit confusing around the head. where do you get you deatil inspiration from?

Beautiful mecha-design! Only understanding the shapes on torso/head is difficult with no shading and so much detail. You want to model this?! That will be a pain! |

You rock, bro. I need to get into doing more character design, too... as it's my true strength. I don't do much mech stuff, but you're inspiring me to get back into it. Here's an example of my own (tech) meanderings:
