Did this pic today, pretty fast.
It was funny to do, but i think, like all my other pics, its kinda boring. mmm....

Irulann -Thx! yea my stuff did also turn out to smooth before, but now when i paint faster it gets more blotchier..=) use larger color areas.???.maybe..=)

Know its just a quickie but..

well other ppl made comments about smoothness/smudge.

Maybe you should add more detail. This will help it lose that smudgy and smooth look. Textures help. you need to define the difference between materials/surfaces with such detail and textures.

Looks quite nice! I think the left ear (our left)is a bit too smudgy compared to the right one though.

Oh yeah.. forgot.. quickie.. I forgive you.

well I absolutely love this--the light is great, and I think the smudginess works really well--I cant seem to get that blotchy smudgy look--all my stuff turns out smooth--any tips?
