This is my first piece of digi-art ever! Remember, this is my first so I know it's kinda crappy, but oh well. Critique as you please. Tear it apart if it so suits you.

Better than my first stuff too

One major thing I would change (if you wanted to change anything) would be to make the highlights on the rocks yellow or orange... some kind of warm color given off by the fire. Firelight doesn't make things white

hmmm I rip out my claws and get dirty.. kiddin. nice fire.. better that a few that Ive seen. MUCH BETTER. nice feel.

Time to dance around that fire. needs more. maybe sharp embers shooting up into the sky, like fire flies..

just an idea!

I see perfect tri-trees in the background.
but I'm sure the goal was the fire. good dude!

I added a few more bits of fire and added some yellow highlight on the rocks.

My only criticism is the composition. Everything is very central, and the trees are aligned in a very man-made looking circle (unless thats what you wanted). The little flecks of fire are too evenly sized too . . . the fire is your central focus yet you don't show the whole thing which makes the whole thing seem like a painting of the edges of things (sky, trees, fire).

I played with this super quick to show you more of what I meant around the rocks. I also did a cheap highlight around the trees to show they were near a blazing fire... I also darkened the sky a bit at the top just because the sky tends to be lighter a little closer to the horizon line.

These are cheap, quick fixes with just a little fast painting with different layer modes.

Hope it's helpful

u2art: Always wear underwear is correct. You get a prize! Wait, no you don't. As you can see I've changed my signature. I'd had that one long enough, and no one had said anything about it.

eviltoylet: Well, maybe I'm just not original.
