Drawn by Curt P. a.k.a. Manwithnoname. If curious about his art, go the the topcow.com forums, or joemadureira.com forums, and you should be able to find his site on a post by him.

great coloring!
nice textures in the trees, leaves, grass, hair, and drapery around her thigh.
my only thing i have to say negatively is that it's hard to tell what's going on with her hand. at first it looks like folded loose flesh or something. by lightening the shadow a little you will get around that problem.
i have two questions:
1) how long does it take for you to do this?
and
2) what resolution do you work with? i mean, are these print quality, or have you grabbed the images off of the internet?
ta ta for now. |

The hand was one of the areas I wasn't all too happy about. Good suggestion. I'll try it.
I did this as a break from the pages, I've been trying to do. I think it clocked in at about 4 hours. With editing, more like 5 or 6. I redid the hair several times. And even now I'm thinking about trying to fix it.
I get all my stuff off of the internet. So sometimes I get it small. This one is full size. Occasionally, I do get one from someone at a decent size, but more often it is like this.
The pages I've been posting are at full size too. So I'm losing alot having to color that small. I've been thinking about blowing up the inks, and coloring at a decent size, then shrinking it back down and pasting the unresized inks. But since none of this is really for print, it doesn't really matter right now.
