i know it was supposed to be a tutorial but my canvas size is like way too big for a bunch of pics of my progress to post....might as well make a new thread...so for those who have NOT seen ive been working on this ogre...i blasted the right wall...the toilet Paper i dont know if it will stay..may have to put something more clever hehheh--and i made some hands ..really all thats left for the ogre is the legs and feet and MAJOR touch-up

comments? and again...sorry so damn big

It reminds me a little bit of the Shrek. But nice work still,I like your colors.

hmm...shrek..i never thought of that..maybe thats what my mind derived it from without even knowing...thanx..i shall try to finish the legs and feet by tonite---btw..does it seem like the hand to OUR left is much smaller than the right?--i just noticed that--*damn*

hey, this one is going to be really cool.
I think you should stick with the toilet paper.
And yeah his right hand is a bit more bigger than the left one.
I like the texture that you are using on him. It would be nice to see some more texture on the forehead....hmmm...just a thought?...

thanx all---yea this is the most time spent on a piece for me so far---im off break as of tomorrow--damn* back to skool

..but my CANVAS size was 20x20 ---inches that is...i know...big huh--

im gonna fix that hand problem--and i dont really like the eyes...i think i'll add an IRIS instead of just the black pupil

---BTW this piece looks horrible in the mirror--yikes--since the earlier piece in WIP titled "color practice"--someone advised me to look at my piece in the mirror to check anatomy n stuff--so i looked at THIS one in the mirror and his face is all disfigured--but anyway...GRATZI

such little advancements huh
---oh well..this may be the
last update for a while since
tomorrow i start school again.
i almost NEVER get on the computer
then.--i did the leg as you can
see--and i tried to make that hand
to our left a little bigger to correspond
with the other hand..hmm...im not
sure if it worked..i'll try to make
many more advancements instead of just
a leg next time---thanx

ok--i know some may get pissed off at me for this but
---I AM REALLY SICK OF THIS PIECE----
jees..i think if you work on something for too long
then you start to get irritated--but i think
it's mainly cuz i see way too many flaws
that i could've avoided in the beginning with a bit
of planning--but NO...i had to be the rushing little
bastard that i am---well anyway..it's not very likely
that i'll finish this...NEVERTHELESS--i have learned a
great deal from this and my skills have definately
gotten better---*sigh* oh well....thanx everyone!
