i agree i wouldn't buy it. the refresh rate looks to be very low and it's 5 years old to boot. |

I must have read right over the 1996 part (seriously). In this case, no it wouldn't be a good buy. Moniters can start to crank out problems when they are that old. |

Dr.Bang.. Oi! Oi! Oi! Not a good buy!! U can buy a brand new Viewsonic A90 19" for less than 300 now.. I personally agree with all the rest. That 5 year old monitor is gonna be a useless doorstopper in less than a year if u are lucky. Monitors dont last that long.. not if u gonna be constantly staring and using it 24/7. whew.. Good thing u asked these nice fellows in the forum eh? Now that we saved u some money hehe.. Drinks ON the HOUSE!!??

ehh that monitor isnt older than mine! and mine is the frickin best! i have a 15" MAG innovision monitor, from back in 95. it works sooooo great. the monitor is just so clear, and the text is ultra crisp. if i were you though, i'd be iffy as to ordering a used product online. if you can witness its quality first hand. check it out. |

y0, i agree Mag makes some wicked monitors. I have a 4 year old 14" and the image quality is practically flawless. Ofcourse, i have outgrown it, but if i could find a local dealer i would get one.
Dr-bang: I would go with either viewsonic, mag, samsung or sony. I cant say exactly which models, but those are very good brands which shouldnt give you any problems. |
