Thanks Max for your comment. Fortunately or not I've never seen the show you mentioned. And I'm sure you are right.
Well, and definitely fortunately customer likes the sketch as it is. Here is the final drawing.
Bare Bonez this is the illustration to a pocket book cover. I really started drawing him without hat, but customer said 'noway'. Anyway Poirot's head was not round enough without hat I guess. Thank you.

Nicely done. Paint that suckah! Just one comment, I agree with the dude above. The guy off the TV show has a much rounder face.
Did you try doing this without the hat? Just curious if it'd look more like the TV dude. Is that what you're going for? |
