Once again (refering to earlier 'Tor' post), I'm out to lunch on this, but I haven't even hinted at a background for a very long time, but this one suggested itself quite strongly, so I felt the need to share.
This one references Andromeda's Woman by Fountain. It inspired me and for that I thank him. I'd also like to launch a general 'thank you' to most of you. I am constantly inspired by your skill and creativity (man, that sounded like some varsity sucking up, sheesh).

This looks really nice! Is it a tablet painting, or did you use a pencil?
It's a refreshing change to see a fantasy character in that kind of unusually natural posture (not heroic/glorious/...). Gives quite some reality to it, especially with those surroundings. Like it a lot.
