im gunna color this when i have time. but for now, people who play D&D or castlevania SOTN may have recognised this monster, as it can either be called a displacer beast or a shade. its kind of an illusianry creature with stinging tenticles (i redesighned the tenticles) but it appears to often be a black panther..

older concepts:
btw if anyone wants to color this the color sceme is jet black, with the underside of the tenticles either red or blue.

Those beasts were a pain in eye of the beholder!
