Hi sebastian
Not so bad.
But the anatomy is wrong.
Clear it up a bit and add more colors.
If you are looking for some tutorials you can get them here: Sumalth Link Page

How to practice
Drawing the heads and hands
Are you working from a photo? If so you should probably get rid of the lines and block in the colors instead. It's not easy to point out why a picture does or does not work. Unlike gigatron, I think your picture isn't exactly fun to look at. I don't know if it's an anatomy issue

heeey... no it's not a wacom painting, I did it by mouse and therefore it's pretty bad anatomy wise in some departments. coulnd't really get the feel of it. also, I think my first mistake was choosing to draw a picture from imagination rather than from a reference. especially now in the beginning it might be a good choice to actually have a photo to look at to see how the light falls and how the colours change and so on. I guess I'll come back to this picture after I've done some more experimenting. |

actually the anatomy isnt THAT bad, however the major thing i see is that the apex of where the ear connects with the head should line up with the center of the eyes (approximately), and the bottom of the ear where it connects to the head should line up with the bottom of the nose...
hope thats clear, and good luck |
