Last week I saw an experimental pic viewer at hellodesign.com, and I thought it would be awesome to do a quilt project using the idea with many artists. So I wrote a similar interface, and all I need now is YOU.

Here's the idea:

The trick here is that each tile rotates on mouseover so I can use as many enteries as there are submissions... So, if you post (even one frame), I will use your pic. (and give ya credit when the project comes to final rest on my site)

Meanwhile, here's the rules. This works just like a quilt. I am posting eight 'frame' pix. Please download any or all, and fill in the white space so your work blends smoothly into the borders. try not to change the border data, or the tiles won't match up, and please don't resize the pics...
I will post updates to the project daily.

Hey John, thanks for posting the image for me. (I was spider monkey, but I've eaten a lot lately) The image was inspired by Dune which I have been reading lately. I imagined a dead worm half out of the ground beginning to deteriorate and a Freeman, perhaps Paul himself checking it out. Perhaps to find the spice!

I think this project is a lot of fun. It will be interesting to see how the images fit togather. Perhaps to tell a story.

It was nice not to worry too much about color pallet since that was somewhat determined by the edge colors.
