To skip my annoying habit of trailing on:
Self portrait from mirror.
Picture of me late last year without glasses.
If you LIKE reading... go for it:
--------------------
Pushing on... trying to learn photoshop. Man, this is a lot harder than I expected. I can pick up traditional media easilly. Something I've found really annoying about the tablet I have... It's REALLY hard to make ovals with it. (Since you can't turn it around like a peice of paper)
Maybe it's just the tablet size I have... But I'm not willing to go out and spend $300 USD on a tablet that I might not ever learn. I have a 4x6 graphire btw.
Anyway, I decided that maybe doing a lot of self portaits in photoshop might help.
My face.
Then I remembered, wait... I have oddly shaped glasses. Yippie! (They're not perfect ovals, but not diamonds... kind of an ovalmond] So most of the time spent drawing this picture was spent on getting my eyes right. I also had to deal with the glare from my monitor on my glasses (I was doing it from a mirror) which is why I have a black backround to minimize that. My question is... how does it look so far? It's not colored yet... Expect that this evening.
Oh, here's a picture of me when I had my contacts late last year. If you can get anything out of that picture despite the fact that it's straight on and my pictures 3/4ths it'd be nice. Webcam sucks too. It's broken now... That's what happens when you pay $15 bucks for it.
...Maybe I should draw an egg in photoshop to help me with my ovals. |
