well, my bro screwed my website. so i decided while im at it i might aswell remake the whole thing. well heres the image thats gonna make up the page. buttons going on his tail.
im trying to go for a rock type dragon, with a very bolder like body and rough scales. a bit like little stones. there is a naked girl hovering infront of him. trying to paint without the smudge tool.
thats pretty much it. crits and comments are welcome, but please not about the lighting setup. this one was intentional. thanks guys.
before i forget, heres the pic.

The back of the dragon is too bright, add some shadow! |

youve colored each individual scale nicely but now you need to think of the dragon as a whole. Add shadding just as you did to the individual scales to the entire dragon. This will solve the problem that the above mentioned. Try to intigrate the lighting of the spikes better, the body of the dragon would cast some shadow onto them, I dont know if any light from the girl would hit them at all, especially behind the wings. Its way cool so far, I reall like what youve done with the backround too. |

thanks for the feedback guys. imm add some shadow on a separate layer. right now all the fine work is more or less finished on the dragon. i see what you mean by saying think of the dragon as a whole.
heres an update.

i refined the dragon a bit more and added some shadows, but they still need work. i now moved to working on the girl, because that spot was bugging me. heres what i got so far.
brushes i used so far on the dragon:
size 250 custom brush
size 7 hard round
brushes used on the girl:
size 250 custom brush
size 15-5 hard round brush.
size 7 hard round smudge thing (yes. i know i didntwant to use it, but hey. im still working on it)

Its looking good zak. The only thing I think you should fix is the wing on the dragon. you need a better transition between the body and the wings, right now it looks like they are not a whole piece.
or is it just me.
other than that keep up the work
