Update, almost finished, if you do have a good site with snow or metal reference I would really appreciate it, because I am now just painting the background till it looks right, also the bicep and should pad as well. I need help with their shading, as far as I know they will reflect colors off of him. Thanks! |

Thanks Bloodstone, but I could not still understand the blueness of the snow at night, and the reflection of the metal pads. because I kept wondering if the light from the moon will effect the color of the armor. Of course I have initial lighting at the front as well... |

Here's my two cents.... The moon is behind him so the only thing that would really pick up the moon light (if its really that intense on the fine evening your depicting) would be the back edges of the armor, and him closest to the moon. As far as the metal goes, it doesnt look to bad, but you need to remember that for metal too look really reflective you have to have a highlight and then opposite that a darker core. I will try and post and example for you in a bit.... but hopefully this helps a bit. |
