This one started from a head study I did many months ago, and posted in the speed painting section. I am looking to get some feedback on how successful, or unsuccessful this is so far. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

looks nice,

lacks contrast though. it looks like a cineon log file to me (nerd term i know). how are you painting it?

Yeah, with some contrast (any contrast) I think that would look pretty good.

Yeah, I always tend to start off with a lack of contrast in my pictures, and then add it as I go ( I didn't even realize how greyed out this one was until I saw it posted here). Next painting I will definately try a more vibrant, and contrasted underpainting. Anyhow, here is a little progress.
