Hi,
It's good to see that the forum is up and running again, so I thought I should quickly make use of it before it cuts out again.
I have not posted for a long time but there are a few problems with this pic. I'm not ashamed to admit that it has a Star Wars influence but I was actually inspired by a scene in the Return to Wolfenstein game.

Howdy!
Well, it looks cool to me. There is certainly nothing wrong with a Star Wars influence...I guess the droids and stuff is what your eluding to here, (to be honest, as I was waiting for the pic to load I was sure a sabre duel was going to pop up ) Anyway, the 3D modelling rendering looks cool (I am assuming its 3D, if you painted it 2D, then double hats off to you)...The only thing that leaps out at me is that the "Cyber Meat Racks" (if you will) appear drawn/inked...so its a just a little inconsistent, but overall, it works well to me and is a very nice/techy design, uber alles ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Hello,
Thank you, for the compliments. You're right that there is 3D stuff in there. I wanted to give certain objects a real solid edge and this seemed the best option to me.
It's quite amusing that you point out the 'meat racks'. They're actually clones in cocoons. Guess they do need some more work!
Sorry if my ramblings mislead you a bit, but thanks again. |
