Concept of a knight for a childrens book!

I really like this. It would help if we knew what kind of character he is, though (swaggering, incompetent, etc.).
The one thing I see, though is that the left hand doesn't align with the hilt. The hilt comes toward us a bit, but the hand looks to be parallel with the surface of the picture.
Very nice line work.
(oh, with the realism of the face, I'm not sure if the three fingered look works)
