I recently picked up a book called "Anatomy Lessons from the Masters" and it kicks ass. It's a bunch of drawings and sketches by such artists as Michelangelo, Leonardo, Albrecht Durer, Rembrandt, and the list goes on and on. But it doesn't stop there, the book's author also identifies what muscle masses, bones, and the like can be identified in the drawing with helpful charts on the side. I know this sounds like an advertisement for the book, but it needn't. This book kicks some serious ass. It's available at Amazon.
