You're bored / you got some spare time on hands? You want to sharpen your painting/drawing skillZ? Here's your chance to paint/draw using a reference pic and take a look at how other Sijun members work! Chances are we could all learn from each other, so here's the deal:

PAINT/DRAW this chick:

Try to capture her face expression - and don't forget the coffee. If you're really good you might make it look like those old style advertisements from the 40s/50s.

This ain't no contest - it's just for the fun of it. ENJOY!

Natalie Portman. If I could draw, she's all I'd ever draw. *sigh* Anyway looks fun, hope someone good actually gives this a go.

I think you overdid her nose a tad, pal... And her lips need some overwork. Look at he eye brows, they're not curved down but going straight up... Hmm I guess you're on the right way. Keep on adjusting.

Regarding my attempt, well, I'm more into cartoon/comics anyway and my frickin' scanner's broken. This thread is meant to be a coop of the most talented painters and beginners who post every day in the g/f forum - thought this could be interesting. Hey, RoundEye, care to get goin'?

the reason a couple of them don't look as good as they could is because the colour on the uh things coming out of the nose is brown instead of a pinkish colour.
