Hi all,
Haven't posted here in awhile but thought I'd post a couple of images of a pair of 3d army boots I made recently. They're for the main character in a short film I'm working on called 'Become War'.
Comments welcome of course, and more info at http://www.davidtitusproductions.com/bw

i think they look quite good: but if you plan on having any closeups of them you may want to consider modeling the laces, and also something about the mud doesn't look quite right. perhaps if you made the a displacement or more intense bump map for the mud, to make it protrude more from the boot. overall though they look quite nice |

great texture! i agree about the laces too, adding some type of geometry would greatly enhance it's effect. maybe some varations in contrast with the mud, all parts seem a little to bright. |
