Hey there - what program are you using to paint with? You should think about fewer lines, and vary them to create interest. You can go with thin lines, but remember that that's prep work for an anime, and so you must be clean, and preferably color it after, to include the shading in there. I took the liberty of doing a draw-over and a color sheet, hope ya don't mind. Be more brave with your lines!
Keep it up! In general you're doing very well! |

Hey there! I usually sketch in Painter using the Charcoal tool, and then take that into Photoshop - us hard brushes, set the stylus(wacom)pressure control to "size." Then use the "x" keyboard shortcut to work black & white against each other. I wouldn't mind trying some coloring-this sort of stuff is way out of my usual spectrum, so its good practise. Micke can laugh at me if he sees it ;] |

I gotta admit, when I first saw the original I thought it was a Terrance and Philip thing. |

Ahhh. With the color added it makes sense. The B&W one looked like she had a really, really goofy grin. |

The B&W version look alot like Frank Miller's Sin City stuff. ( that's a compliment, btw )
I'm really digging this. |
