Looks good so far, i think it needs some more fine detail- scratches, rust, etc- it's a little too uniform. giving some wear and tear to those edges can really enhance the look and 3d-ness of it.
also, since this is a realtime model and realtime engines usually have only limited lighting capabilities, adding some gi-style soft shadows in those areas that are hidden from light really creates a nice effect..darken the areas where objects connect to one another,and keep recessed areas generally darker. |
