When i try to connect to efnet i get this message:

yup,. there are hundreds upn thousands of efnet servers, many are based off of people who has low bandwidth connections, what i would suggest would be to just ping some of the servers and see if you can get a good response,.. if so go for that one,..

or you can do like most other people do, keep trying a different till you find one that works,..

depending on the application you use, there should be a list of servers already set-up...

if not, i would suggest to ask a few people that are located in your area which IRC servers they use,.

where are you located, and i will try to find a few good for you,.
