Hi Alex!
I suppose you are working from a reference picture, yes? In that case, take a close look at the texture of the skin... it's probably all wrinkled, or cracked, or scaly. I think adding some of that would make this picture even better. And if you splash on a cold background colour, like a blue-green, it might be nicer to work with?
