Still working on it but I am about 85% completed. There will be some funky things coming out from his sides and some ornamental trappings added. I also have to to some work on the windows in the background and the lighting.

Looks very good! Atmospheric, and there's a lot of attention in this picture. I'm just wondering, is there even more you can do to bring his face forwards? It's lighter, I see that, I just think it should be more prominent. Would placing more light behind the head look too unnatural?
Anyways, looks very intriguing and slick.
Thanks, |

Cool design! The purple looks too saturated. The face is coming along, but you could nail it a lot better with some reference. |

looks cool, the face is weird though, maybe because the nose seems larger than usual. Still cool though. |

Thanks for the C&C. I finished this image before reading the comments. All your suggestion are helpfull and keep me on track.
This image is done but I'll keep all suggestion in mind for the next one.
Here's the finished image
FINISHED VERSION
zak: Thanks!
Torstein Nordstrand: Thanks Torstein!
I don't know what else I could do to bring the face forward.
A good portion of his head is covered bylong hair. Maybe thats why the face is not as prominent?
Kari Christensen: Yes using reference would be the way to go but it's so much more fun (although not always wise) without it.
Svanur: That's the good thing about a fresh set of eyes. I never noticed the size of the nose. I tend to lose judgement after looking at it for more than a few hours. |
