Looking around Pistol Club websites, as I do, I discovered that the logos and in fact the entire corporate identity of these clubs is not very good. I thought it may be a good project for anyone interested to look at the existing logo for the Pine Valley Pistol Club and see if you can come up with a better logo and identity.
The brief would be something like the following:
A new corporate identity is required for the Pine Valley Pistol Club. The requirements are as follows:
1. The logo and font choice etc needs to be slick. The new identity needs to reflect the professionalism of the club.
2. The club intends to use the logo on the net as well as on letterhead so the logo and text needs to be able to be displayed effectively in black and white as well as colour.
What is required:
1. internet logo and title (in color)
2. black and white version for print
3. business card design
4. document letterhead
5. Club shirt design
6. Signage
All these need to appear to belong together.
Enjoy yourselves.
Here is the original logo in question

BE AWARE THAT THIS PROJECT IS ONLY FOR THE FORUM AND IS NOT A REAL TASK IN ANY WAY. THE PISTOL CLUB HAS BEEN CHOSEN AS AN EXAMPLE ONLY AND IS UNAWARE OF THIS THREAD.
THE REASON THIS CLUB WAS CHOSEN WAS FOR THE INHERANT DIFFICULTY INVOLVED. |

Not really a serious attempt. Just thought since no one had posted anything, that I'd give it a whirl. Like I said, I wasn't really trying hard... but I like the layout.
