thats pretty cruel, i felt sorry for the poor bull. Never been a big fan of bullfighting either.

hmm...

that's all ture, of course, but unless the author of that is a vegeterian, then he is being very hypocritical. Animals raised for meat live in absolutely horrible conditions before they are sent to the slaughter house, where they undergo a very unpleasant death. It may not seem quite as cruel and senseless as bullfighting, but it does take place on an infinitely larger scale

While I never really thought much about bull fighting before, I honestly thought the fight was more fair than that, I am now the wiser!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I feel sick and angry and really pissed off at those horrible people.

My first reaction is to give the animals a machine gun - then I remembered a song I heard a while back - "COWS WITH GUNS" or something.

One of the main arguments for bull fighting is that if the bull wins, they set it free to stud. How often do you think that happens when they've just about bled to death and have completely destroyed brachial muscles which will keep it from walking ever again?

I can promise you that animals you eat suffered for far longer than these bulls.

Now i don't condone bull fighting in any way, but it really is ridiculous to think that animals in your own country aren't treated just as badly

go search on google for 'treatment of battery chickens' or something, and i'm sure you'll find many interesting little facts

true, but thats y its "underground". Bull fighting is actually legal,people are allowed to kill and watch the bulls die, plus its sponsored by big name companies. I dont think dog and cock fighting arenas are sponsored by the company that owns sea world. :\ all in all, its still fu*ked up~

Yes...all and all as a species...we are bastards arnt we. Not all of us...but alot of us.

How can any of it be called a sport eather...neather bullfighting or Dear hunting is fair.....Id like to see a hunter chace down a dear....id even at least give him a knife....he would still never get it.

Fuck em all. I hope the bull kills the bullfighter everytime.

That's no excuse at all. You can live perfectly well without eating meat, and you can certainly live well by only eating meat that comes from decently raised free range cattle/chickens whatever.

In spain they torture animals as part of a form of entertainment. In the rest of the world we torture animals to save a bit of money. In my opinion that's not much better

I'd like to see bull-fighting stop forever too, but saying all those "spanish bastards" should die is just immature... what if you got that wish? Ok, I'm pretty sure most of you were exaggerating, but... well not 100% sure...

Those bulls would be killed anyway, for food, if you managed to save them from the ring.
And what's so great about becoming food? "At least they serve a purpose..." If you could ask the bull, he probably wouldn't agree.

Humans don't need beef or pork to survive, that's scientifically proven. The only reason we eat it is because it tastes great.
We should at least stop killing larger animals for food, such as pigs and cows. Pigs have been proven to be smarter than dogs - but do we raise dogs in little cubicles, kill them and eat them? No, cause they're 'cute' - but the pig isn't, and anyway happens to taste really good! Talk about bad luck.

So the choices available for the bull would be: dying on your feet, fighting, running, angry as hell, pumped, high on adrenaline...
...or being shoved down a tight dark corridor, mad with fear because you can smell and hear your kin being slaughtered all around you.
I know which I'd choose.

I think we should stop killing all mammals period, except those that threaten human lives.

Okay there was this guy who went to go see a bull fight. Afterwards he went to a dinner close by. He decided to order the Mountain Oysters. The waiter brought out this hugh plate over flowing with these Mountain Oysters.

The next day the guy went back to the dinner and order the Mountain Oysters again only this time the plate had very little on it.

The guy then ask the waiter, "Yesterday I came in and ordered the Mountain Oysters and the plate was over flowing with them, but today I ordered the same thing and there's very little. What's up?"

The waiter stood back and looked at the guy and said, "We get our Mountain Oysters from the bull fight. Sometimes the bull loses and sometimes he wins!"

thats is why, the bulls dont make the decision,we the ppl do. They serve "our" purpose. (in spain,etc. for enterntainment)- (cows)(USA,etc. for food)

until the human race ends, animals (as well humans) will suffer.
