Hi.
I've been particularly inspired by Otomo's work lately, obviously. I just finished reading book six of Akira.
This is Yamagata, Tetsuo and Kaneda racing downtown. I'm looking at injecting some dynamism into my work. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can do that with this piece? Any other c+c is welcome.

he he he, im the first to reply. i cant really say much at this stage, but make sure the light traces dont overlap the other bikes, otherwise it looks as if one bike drove over the other |

I'm just throwing out a possible idea to make the picture more dynamic, but you could make Yamagata(? The one closest to us) popping a wheelie. Doesn't have to be too high. Just make it look like he's really cranking the power out of that bike. I dunno, might be too much work I like the buildings so far. Looked like something straight out of Tek's mind . |

hmmm yummy! bright lights- night city!
my favorite subject! i like!
to add some dynamism i would make the
buildings a bit more interesting to look at
-a better composition with less color allover
but some interesting changes between dark and bright parts that help "push" the action of the bikes along.
also take care of the parked car's sizes
some of them are way too small.
japan yes- midged cars no.
and maybe a lower camera angle would be better
again to give a more cinematic feel to it.
the usual overdraw

Yo zak good point, I was kinda wondering what i was doing with the light trails. Like whether or not to put them in and exactly how they would flowaround the scene. thanks.
Beowulfthefallen, good idea, I'll think about it.
tek9z, thanks for the great ideas. Now if i can think of my own comp variant so i don't feel like i'm coping off yall. You know I keep thinking that painting you did of the electric sheep was one of the covers to the new printings of "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep." Its just stuck in my head.
Thanks again guys.
