i felt like doing a portrait, so i hauled a photo of anthony hopkins off the net and started painting, obviously going to be a while yet, but feel free to lemme know what u think

You're making it very difficult for yourself working that way. It'd be better to rough out all the toned areas first and then gradually refining. |

Yes, very difficult, especially since it keeps harder and harder to have the correct colors over all the picture if you are working like this. |
