looks cool!
A couple of comments, the ear seems a bit out of place, kind seems like it comes out of his chin instead of the end of his jaw bone. It might also be cooler of you were planning a bit more aggresive body expression. Now since his neck goes straight down it seems like he is just standing there screaming, instead of if you bend the neck backward and try to visualize that he is standing bent forward and screams like hell. Also, if I were you I think I'd might try to sketch up the whole picture roughly, planning out how it should look, like around, the hair, etc before starting the cleaning up. THen, it might go faster to paint as well. But, looking good so far.

it helped a lot, actually, thanks
i tried something similar, made the pose more aggressive. didn't touch the ear yet, i'll do that tonight. here's the progress:
