hey peeps, just started a drawing... just finished a bit of the girl's head, i want to make it into a picture of an alien world of humans... like with alien looking buildings in the background and a desert with a sky and a couple of suns... i think I'm going to have to work on the background scene a bit more though I'll get to it, let me know what you think of it so far.

Consider working on the background first.

Remember that contrast is what allows us to see anything.

Try working from back to front. Try blocking in colors in flat shades to start with.
