[Five Iron Skillet]

Oh my gosh! I don't remember the last time I painted so much in one day. Anyway, this is still pretty sketchy, but I think it's far enough along that I can share it with you now. It's very loosely based off of a photo reference (the sign and the pond are the only things that look the same). But the photo didn't have any people in the pond and I thought it would be cool to add some. Tell me what you think!

great composition! the only thing that may need a bit more defining is what the children /people are doing.

really hard to tell that the guy is splashing the girl. the girl just looks so passive about it. needs to be a bit more dynamic.

Yup, great composition...but...

There are some problems... You need to establish a light source, and sketch in at least a little shadow round objects like the tree.
The figures also look a bit stiff. Frozen, sort of.
I also think that there would be more ripples in the water from such motion.

But you're off to a great start... I'm sure you'll pull it off beautifully.

its very nice.. specially those reflections on the pond.. youve done a good job of the water splashing as well..

I couldnt do something like this but in my opinion the girl could possibly do with a shapelier *ass* theres something wierd about her body... apart from that its a lovely scene
