I'm still trying to imagine what sort of position you would have to get in to scan your steel-nailed toesies.

*kicks his broken scanner*

This is the weirdest thing I've ever scanned (btw, the 'object' was moved while scanning to get that neat fucked up effect)

I scanned one of my own extracted molars, still covered in blood. It had all these deep chisel marks from the surgeon's tools, and a big nasty cavity. I'll post a link to it if I can find the image.

I was going to use it as the cover of a record that I never finished.

having your wisdom teeth removed is quite an ordeal...especially if the doctor gives you nitrous oxide...I could feel my teeth being yanked from my jaw, horrible scraping vibrations reverberating through the bone...It was hilarious, plus I had beethoven...

I'll never forget what moonlight sonata sounded like under the influence of such a silly situation...like I was under water.

*sigh*

Okay I was talking to Beth last night about scanning different things, and now I was wondering.
What's the weirdest thing you guys have ever scanned?

While I was scanning a pencil my cat started playing with it. Then he got bored and sat down. Hmmm.... scan wasn't pretty.

Okay, I found the image . . . its pretty nasty, so I'll just post a link instead of the pic itself:

I wish my old scanner had a higher resolution . . . there probably would've been some cool textures inside that cavity

faustgfx: unfortunately, the tooth dried-out and fell to pieces not long after I scanned it.

ex: just be glad the hospital wouldn't let me keep my kidney stone . . .
