The head is WAY too large. Even for a dwarf.
....(Uless you charicaturize it a bit more and make it a "funny dwart")....
The pose is also a little bland. Almost looks like you've really drawn a sitting model then removed the chair.
The face is real nice, but he's got no expression on it. I don't know, maybe he's an uninterested and tired dwarf, but for this kind of picture I would rather go for a dwarf that says "RAAAAARRGGHHH!!!"
....(Or something)....
But it's got a lot of nice elements in it. Fix the head and the face, and perhaps move one leg further behind(So he's more running\jumping) and it could become very cool indeed. |

This is really nice..i love the palette.
the thing which is bothering me the most is the proportions. the body looks too thin, it doesn't have the stockyness usually associated with dwarves. seems like a muscular human with an exceptionaly big head.
i'd also like to see some nice cast shadows. |

Basse_Ex- yea the head is large, but it is ment to be soo, or it was. I wanted it to be more "funny dwarf" in the begining but now, noo. So yea, to big head. oh yes the pose, have changed those leegs to many times, hehe. but the upper body, the pose there is more right. I am happy with his left arm (his left arm). Expression, yea, that could make the it more intresting, yea.
thx!
Bilbo- Thx! Yea the palett is nice, but the ground, should i make it dark or paint a light source there that shines on him? hmm.
To thin, yea..i should need to look at some other dwarf pictures? if you have any post em! cast shadows, not my stronges part.
but i will try! hehe
thx! |

If it's supposed to be a funny dwarf, then, well, it needs to get... well... funnier. More over-the-top. It's far too... well... pretty.
Let yourself go a little, make him ugly.
Ugly goes a long way...
