thats pretty good work! you've got a little bit of something for everyone! i like the 3d wood thingy's and the poolBALLS. you're good at 3d rendering. keep practicing! you'll only get better.
hmmmm are you looking for a crit? or advice? or a tip? well here goes:
i don't know what your style is, but i think the main way to get better at drawing everthing (including cartoony) is to draw alot of realistic art, experimenting with folds and details in clothing and such. personally i like to take a peice of paper and draw folds all over it randomly (just a bunch of curvy lines), and then i shade the folds to look like a material, like silk or something.
end result: a peice of paper that looks like a pile of silk but you notice that it's 2D its really cool if you do it right. this helped me the most (i came up with the idea myslef) when it came to realistic folds and such.
well thats my tip!
...also if you want to practice cartoons and stuff do scribble drawing:
-first take a light thin pencil and make SMALL scribbles on the paper
-then look into the scribble and try to see a face or a figure or a cartoony thing.
-outline it with your pencil and erase the other junk carefully (or don't erase)
-this only works for some people....other peoiple have a really hard time with this...but it is really cool.
well those are my pointers for the day
p.s. i like afro man. |
