A great start with the second picture. I think the pose suits the head and is overall much better. The first one is kind of confusing and looks a little odd and unnatural. However, I saw this post before you showed your second version and tried my best on fixing the first pose. Keep in mind I am still learning a lot myself so it's porbaly not perfect, but it may help you understand a little of what you did wrong the first time:

I'm sure my version has some problems as well, but I wanted to post it anyway.

Mainly the body was a little wide, and some limbs were a little long. Also, because of how the torso was leaning forward, the length of the torso and the head's position on top didn't seem right.

Hope this helps.

(Sexy head by the way, can't wait to see the rest)

(EDIT: btw, dragging the link to the address bar and dropping it works for yahoo links)

hey thanx a lot m8! i can see now what was going wrong with the first pose, the perspective is much better on your version, and yeah the head didnt really suit the body after id rendered it.
im sticking with the upright pose now, thanx for showing me what was wrong with the first one though.

ill keep ya all posted on progress.

P.S. what do you guys think about the lighting so far? just so i can change anything before going onto the body.

well it seems a bit "fat" i dunno if it is the clothes but her arms as big as her legs... seems a bit strange, and i think her torso has to be a bit longer... but perhaps thats just the perspective, hope i could help you!

Doesn't look right to me...
I think you should change the whole pose and make her wear sth more tight.
Finishing the picture with the heavy pads 'n stuff wouldn't look to good in my opinion.
Don't waste that really nice face!
