Got two more line arts I have here,
Side View of Timbus | Angular view of Timbus
And this is what I have done so far:
I can't seem to find a way to describe battle marks/scorches/heat marks, and would anyone tell me what I can do with channels and work path? So far I'm only using pencil/brush/blur/fill + layers, and I don't think I'm nearly using the full potential of photoshop yet.
Please comment. |

EDIT: Jesus, it's crap, sorry......
I did this a year ago, and if your want a cartoony look, I think this technique is O.K. (Perhaps not, I'm also trying to make better dirt )
I've tried to make it look like the paint and dirt has flaked off from wear and tear.
-New layer
-Mark the flaking areas whith the lasso tool
-Paint/stroke darker colours around the marked areas, and deselect them.
You should now have a result similar to mine.
I can't wait for someone to post a better way of doing it though
