Hullo there.
I just found these forums the other day and it seems pretty solid.. some real good people here. ..
Ive done some painting along time ago in my youth ;-) but havent been so active painting the "traditional" way for many years. I have done some webdesigns and wallpapers and that kinda stuff, but when I stumbled over this forum you guys/gals inspired me to get going again.
So this is one of my first real projects on painting completely by hand, digitaly. I posted a couple o quickies in the speed thread wich where my very first tabletonly paintings digitaly.
Anyway .. on with the show.
This is a piece im working on now. A kind of Bionic/cyborg kinda fella.. inspired a bit;-) by the Warhammer 40K universe,, for those familiar with that this is supposed to be some kind of Inquisitor. Not necesary in the warhammer40K universe .. only inspired by.
So I want some thoughts on it. He is supposed to be in some sort of resting pose, maybee praying .. maybee just wondering if his neverending quest against evil will end,, maybee thinking that he is beeing evil himself.
The thicker outlines is kinda ready, and the thiner lines, are more like "thoughts/ideas" to where to take the picture. Im also not really sure how Im going to make the back of him show.. if he is going to have a gigantic backback rising above his head or a big armored "collar" (sp?) around his neck.
Ideas, thoughts on both the pic and techniques are welcome.

I like the head, shoulders, and chest. But his arm could be worked over. Perhaps making it longer, and some varying shapes so it will look more bionic. I think the design of this is very interesting!
