PErsonnally I love gun design and this one is great!
There are only 2 details I woul comment. The handle seems too much oriented to the rear. Could be hard to grip
And the barrel looks like is not horizontal because of the bulge above, and because of the 3 little stroke on the rear.
It could be great to add ventilation shafts on the front of the gun to suggest to the viewer how is positionned the barrel.
BTW, nice touch this round clip. I suppose it is an energy gun |

Weak point... humph....life must suck for you.
I really liking the concepts you are coming up with, they are quick but wonderfully rendered.

Pay close attention to the material, if it's flesh, loose rendering is ok, but for metallic (or otherwise hard) objects the shading should be much tighter. You can use the polygonal lasso (and other selection tools) to get very sharp edges and clean shading with just a few strokes. Here's an example of what I'm talking about: |

bg: i appreciate your help. what i had in mind here was dark, brushed metal, don't know how to describe it. looks a lot like frying pan's surface. just started working with lasso few minutes ago
(it's in the middle of process)
