Looks cool! Very Mucha-esque. I think it could work very nicely as a design with no shading on the clothes, but only if you work in a few different colors. Fill in the dress with flat shades of color to differentiate it from the background. Something simple; just a lighter shade for the dress, and maybe some pale light yellow to highlight the jewelry. Also, you might leave the orb on her head a blank color, as well. Something about it doesn't look right with the way it is shaded... This is a really lovely piece, though, and I look forward to seeing the finished version. ^_^

hmmm.. dono, i think it looks fantastic, but have no idea whether id like it more if completely coloured etc. id have to see the two side by side.
It does look very, hmm, whatYaCallIt? art noveau? Like Henri Toulouse Lutrec (sp) stuff. maybe
go for it, colour it!

This is definitely a lovely piece of art.
Personnally I would love to see it colored, just because it wouldn't do justice to the nice inking not being colored! |
