I'd like your comments on this little art thingy based on a screenshot. The picture is sized down a bit.
I don't know about the body composition. Does the pose look right?
and do I 'need' the bandana end
without a bandana end:
with a bandana end:
I'm going to use it for a little animation (Flash) - so the next pic the AR15 will blaze and I need to put some reflections and lightning on Snake. |

I think it loks better with the bandana, more actiony if you know what i mean, makes him look more dynamic and into the job...thats me tho... |

To me it jus doesn't looks as if the machinegun is resting on his shoulder! It seems like he's holding it in mid air, to the right of his shoulder! And even though I am no expert when it comes to firearms, that just doesn't look believable to me!
I think it has something to do with the way his chin is in no contact with the gun! Show some shadows, rincles or the like in the skin of his chin, that'll help alot!
Otherwise... nice rendering of especially the gun and the right hand holding it! Looks good!

i think it certainly looks better with the bandana end,
i must agree that it doesnt look like he's holding the gun, it looks kinda like two pictures stuck on top of each other
other than that i think it looks pretty cool |

Hey awsome pic, but i think since you are planning to ad a muzzle flash, you need to ad depth to the hand on the stock and the hand on the grip with some shading, like between the fingers and to the left side of the pic, or away from the muzzle, and in the palm area of the hand on the stock. other than that great pic. |

It looks better with the bandana end, but make it coming from behind his head, and sticking slightly farther out into the image. In front of his head is distracting, and hard to read. |

Thanks for c&c!
arkoh -
thank you so much for pointing that out. You are so right (jeg kan ogs bare sige tak)
Ben Barker -
you might be right. I'll try moving the layer behind his head.
Bass Man -
yep I knew I had to work some more with the hands, adding shadows that is, but I just wanted to be sure I had a proper pose. |

Hmmm the flash looks really cool!
But I agree with the ppl above.
The weapon doesn't really look right.
Good job anyway! |
