I just wanted to hear your thoughts on freedom:
Do we have it?
Can we achieve it?
How?
When?
Why do people take freedom away?
Or anything else you want to discuss on the subject. I'll post my opinions later but now I have to do history work ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/frown.gif) |

Freedom is in your head. Period. It's much more a mental thing than a physical thing.

I agree completely with Spitfire.
Well said m8
Someone born with their arms and legs bound in shackles won't see it as a restriction until something or someone gives them a reason to question it - and realize that they actually have what they now believe to be a "restriction."
The Cave. Indeed.

a slave of my own principles and ways.
they forbid me from practical freedom of act, behaviour, thinking, progressing, advancing, moving.
freedom's not freedom anyway. it's just a way of making one think he has freedom. freedom is a course of actions one must follow- i.e. follow no courses at all.
freedom stinks. it doesn't exist. the concept is different for every person, it's a matter of personal views and opinions and thoughts.
out.

I htink my sig says something about it.
Basically, the freedom we see is fragmented, defined by rules and regulations and therefore is not true freedom.

We do not have freedom. We have rules and oppression and where the oppression is less visible we believe to have found freedom.
